I provide a warm environment where you are invited to show up authentically yourself. Therapy can fit different needs at different times of your life; you deserve space to feel exactly how you feel and be met with compassion. I work to balance both validating your emotional experiences while empowering you to move toward the practical change you desire in your world.
I use an integrative approach with a focus on systemic thinking that centers your own wisdom about your life and your relationship. I recognize the context of who you are and how you live is built up by your lived experiences, your culture, your family, friendships, social and political environment and so much more. My work is informed by attachment research and I have specialized training from the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the standard session fee.
I reserve a few reduced fee slots within my caseload as I recognize economic stress can be a barrier for receiving care. If you are interested in services, but unable to pay the session fee at this time, please email me to see if there are available reduced fee slots. I am also happy to provide external referrals.

I provide both in-person and virtual sessions.
In-person sessions are available in Denver, less than 10 minutes away from Wash Park and virtual sessions are available throughout the state of Colorado on a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.
Some clients choose to take advantage of both options throughout the course of treatment which offers flexibility to both your schedule and preferences. All virtual sessions must take place within the state of Colorado.

It is common to have different levels of interest or readiness for beginning the couples therapy process.
Sometimes, you or your partner may feel disconnected or unsure what you may want or need at this point. If this is your first time working in relational therapy, it can also feel intimidating to start something brand new.
I have experience supporting couples who may arrive to this work with different thoughts, feelings, or experiences related to therapy. This process will be collaborative and we will work together to ensure we can develop and work towards shared goals.
One of the first steps in our work together will be to explore and recognize the patterns that may show up in your relationship with one another that can leave you both feeling stuck, frustrated, unheard or lonely within your relationship.

Finding the right therapist matters, and it can take time to find a therapeutic relationship and approach that feels like the right fit. If at any point our work together or my style does not feel aligned with what you need, we can talk about it and consider what might better support you. I can provide external referrals and assist you in navigating support that feels like a better match.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. You don’t need to arrive with the right words, a clear goal, or everything figured out. We’ll start where you are and work together to understand what’s bringing you in, what matters most to you, and what you hope might feel different over time.
Whether you’re seeking individual, couples or relational care, therapy is a collaborative process. I’ll help you better understand your emotions, patterns, relationships, and the experiences that shape them. We’ll make space for both the challenges you’re facing and the strengths, hopes, and possibilities already present in your life and your relationship.
You can expect a thoughtful pace that meets you where you are. Some sessions may involve deeper reflection and meaningful challenge, while others may simply offer space to slow down, feel supported, and make sense of what’s happening.

Therapy sessions are not a crisis or emergency support service. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency or is in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
For immediate crisis support, you can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Good Faith Estimate | Colorado Mental Health Care
As a private-pay mental health provider in Colorado, I do not accept insurance. Under federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected cost of your therapy services before beginning treatment or upon request. This estimate is intended to help you understand and plan for the cost of care. Actual costs may vary depending on the services you receive. If you have any questions about this at any point in treatment, I am happy to answer questions.
